Since opening our doors in 2023, Salt & Honey has been a hidden gem nestled inside the Salon Republic Building, just steps from the vibrant Santa Monica Promenade. More than just a salon, we've created a private oasis — a place to arrive, exhale, and be cared for.

Haircut

Removes damaged ends and reshapes the style and overall look of your hair. Includes wash, blow dry, and styling. Maintenance service recommended every 1–2 months.

Blowout & Style

Wash and blow dry with hot tool styling for a polished, salon-fresh finish.

Short / Clipper Cut

Scissor-over-comb or clipper/barber-style haircut. Includes wash and style.

Full Color

Customized full head of color using permanent or demi-permanent hair color.

Full, Custom Lightening

Customized full head of lightening. Includes bond/builder treatment, conditioning treatment, and toner. Blow dry add-on available.

Partial, Balayage & Toner

Hand-painted technique used for lightening the hair in or out of foils. Includes toner and blow dry. Blow dry add-on available.

Full Highlight & Toner

Closest-to-root, partial head of highlights with foils. Blow dry add-on available.

Mini Face Frame Highlight & Toner

Maintenance color around the face and hairline. Price includes additional lightening on the ends if desired.

Special Process Color

Grey coverage or color applied to the scalp and root to lighten or darken the natural base color.

Partial Highlight & Toner

Maintenance color using foils to achieve your desired color and/or shade of blonde.

Toner

Semi-permanent color used to cancel unwanted tones and add dimension and shine to the hair.

Bleach & Tone

Full-service lightening treatment for an all-over blonde look. Includes toner to achieve your desired color and/or shade of blonde.

Gloss / Toner

Semi or demi-permanent color that adds shine and tone. Can only deepen — not lighten — the hair. A great option for boosting vibrancy and gloss.

Olaplex

Bond-strengthening treatment that reduces frizz, cuts down styling time, and adds shine by creating a protective protein layer in the hair.

Cezanne

Formaldehyde-free smoothing treatment. Reduces frizz, cuts down styling time, and adds shine by creating a protective silk coating over the hair.

K18

Add-on

Reverses hair damage caused by coloring, chemical services, heat, and mechanical damage.

Malibu C

Add-on

Removes natural mineral build-up from water and environment, or used to prepare hair for a color service.

Davines Scalp Treatment

Rejuvenates the scalp and stimulates healthy hair growth.

Davines Herbal Infusion

We recommend booking online to secure your preferred time — our stylists tend to fill up quickly! That said, we do our best to accommodate walk-ins based on availability.

We work with professional-grade color lines including Redken and Olaplex to keep your hair healthy, vibrant, and beautifully conditioned from start to finish.

Absolutely. First-time color clients receive a complimentary 15-minute consultation so we can understand your hair history, goals, and make sure we're aligned before the appointment.

We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.

Street parking is available nearby. We recommend Lot 4 on 2nd Street — the first 90 minutes are free, which is plenty of time for most appointments.

Yes! We love walk-ins. Call ahead or stop by and we'll do our best to fit you in. Booking ahead guarantees your spot with your preferred stylist.
